Same story on my 6 Plus (2h44m usage at 61%). Hopefully Apple comes out with a minor update in the future to bring battery life back to 8.0 levels.
I suppose it's possible. Calibrating the battery after a major change to the software. Let us know if it works for you.Maybe we need to fully discharge it and then charge it to 100%?
Restart your phone, somebody on the forum said that this is what fixed their battery drain issues.
Same here. I think that only works when you've had your phone on for a while, and you've got lots of processes and data in the cache.I have, haven't noticed drastic change

No drainage in first 30 minutes
my 6 Plus was draining significantly after i updated even on standby but i simply turned the device off and on and battery is trickling down like 8.0.2 which was good.
Why did you hide your carrier's name?
I noticed after upgrading to 8.1 a lot of apps I turned off in background app refresh turned back on after the upgrade. I since turned them back off any my battery life is back where it was which is great. I only have a few health apps on in background app refresh which seem to want that setting on.
No particular reason, the battery life is what matters anyways
Thanks for the heads up. Turns out three apps had background refresh turned back on in my phone after the update. We'll see if this makes a difference. Even discounting that, there's still a huge discrepancy in my battery life though.I noticed after upgrading to 8.1 a lot of apps I turned off in background app refresh turned back on after the upgrade.
