iMac Blurry Text with Yosemite

I have been noticing that some of the text in yosemite comes up blurry and hard to read, anybody else having these problems? I have a 2009 iMac. The blur comes up when I select a drop down options menu for example to pick my state when filling out a form or even when I go into the general settings drop down menus. Anybody know whats going on?
