iPad iPad Air 2 in Stock Today at Best Buy

It says that on the mobile site, but on the desktop site it says pre-order for the 24th.

Even on the desktop site, if you put the iPad in your cart, then checkout and select "store pickup" it indicates that you can pick it up today.
 
I just went through the motions, and all mine says is "available to pick up on release day." So I chose my store, and it then changed to "preorder now. pickup in store 10/24."

Alas, all for naught; I'm waiting for my 128gb silver LTE model to ship from Apple.

On the mobile site all the local best buys said 10/24, but on the desktop site half of the stores near my zip show unavailable. Those that have a date say 10/24.

EDIT: I went ahead and checked that best buy location in Tulsa and it says 10/24 for me too. Weird.

I'm not trying to brag...just wondering if it is a mistake or if they really have them. I guess I'll find out in about an hour.

Same here. Wondering if the OP did a checkout if it would switch to pre-order.
 
If someone with a best buy pick up date of the 24th is able to get their iPad today, please let us know! I'll stop by later today if so.
 
I'm just hoping they'll have some cellular versions in before their iPad trade in promo stops on Nov 8th.

Used to work at my local store and I'm still good buddies with the Apple rep there. He's supposed to let me know when they come in....still nothing yet.

I'm in Frisco, TX.
 
So, the pre-orders from BB say that they're available for pick up in store on Friday the 24th. Does that mean that they'll be available to walk into the store and buy one on the 24th as well?
 
Question on the iPad trade in at Best Buy - the site says you can go to the store and trade in your iPad, but then it says they give you an E-gift card - does this mean you are stuck going back home and ordering online?

No, you'll get it to your email and you can use it in store.
 
Stores around me say Pre-Order only and only one store says Pick up 10/24. Two others around me just say "Unavailable".

So it can be used instantly then? Would like to just show up and trade the old one in and pick up the new one all in one shot if possible (assuming mine doesn't sell here on the forums in the marketplace).
