iPhone 5s, I'm trying to drag an app to the left so it goes to the previous screen. It never switches to the previous screen, but I CAN drag it to the right for the next screen.

It worked fine on all previous releases. Anyone else try this?

Works fine. Restart your phone.

Maybe the app isn't updated to use the swipe from the left to go back gesture.

Thanks, what I'm talking about is on the home screen, moving the app icons to different screens. It seems the area on the sides of the screens where the OS notices that you're trying to move has gotten a lot narrower, and dragging to the left on my phone is almost impossible - it switches to the previous screen about 1 out of every 7 tries.

Ahh, I undestand now. :) No problem here on iPhone 6 iOS 8.1.

It does work but it seems to be more "picky" when moving to a left screen. Try dragging it and holding it at the far left for a few seconds. It should allow you to do it after a few seconds.
