I have been running the Windows 10 Technical Preview using VMWare Player. The host is Windows 8.1 Pro running under BootCamp. The one annoying issue for me is the lack of Trackpad support on my MBP.

I get wonderful Trackpad support if I run the same Windows 10 Technical Preview under Mavericks and Parallels Desktop 9. But I run my MBP under Bootcamp about 90% of the time. My MBP is basically my Windows notebook.

Is there any form of Trackpad support under VMWare?

I solved my problem by switching to Hyper-V instead of VMWare Player. The MBP Trackpad has basic vertical scrolling with Hyper-V and not much else. Perhaps I've lost some other features by switching to Hyper-V. But my main objective is to use the Windows 10 Technical Preview in a VM.

The differences between Hyper-V and VMWare is a whole other topic...
