Im using vlc and i have found that my subs need a 300ms delay in order to be precise. What sub syncing app can i use to sync my subs permanently and if so, can the delay (miliseconds) i eventually found on vlc be used to apply the delay on my subs to synchronize them permanently?

I have subs that need offset to match the video. How can i find out how much offset is needed because the vlc ways doesn't seem so precise?

Can Jubler help me with this sub offset thing?

Isn't trial and error approach precise enough? (VLC > Window > Track synchronization; change parameters and watch the effect)

In some cases this method seems useful:

I'm no expert on this, you might get better answers on some subtitling forum.
