I have a Mac G4 MDD, Model 8750. (80 GB hard drive, Dual processor, 1.25 Mhz, etc.) which has power supply issues. I'll call this "Mac A".
I have the opportunity to pick up a Mac G4 with the same specifics. I'll call this "Mac B".
My plan is to use "Mac B" and install the 80GB Harddrive from "Mac A". It should have two hard drives.
If necessary I can install OS X 10.5. I still have the disk.
The HD from "Mac A" has an old version of Adobe's CS which I plan to use.
Eventually, I plan to replace the power supply in "Mac A".
The G4 will not be used for internet, I have a 2013 Mac-mini for that.
My question, is there anything I need to do after installing a second hard drive? Can I have Adobe's InDesign in the dock? I assume I can operate the Mac as if it had one hard drive.
I'd appreciate any suggestions and comments.
