Would appreciate it greatly if so, could you perhaps:

1. Download iStat
2. Play a GPU intensive game or use Google Hangouts for ~30 minutes

And then report back with both:

1. Your fan speed
2. Temperature of your "GPU Die"

I'm trying to discover if I have a faulty sensor in my device, as my GPU Die reaches 100C, whereas the fan only spins at 1400 rpm.

I'm trying to discover if I have a faulty sensor in my device, as my GPU Die reaches 100C, whereas the fan only spins at 1400 rpm.

Sometimes the fan control of istat goes crazy and does not spin up correctly the fan.
I have i7 and m295x and I go over 80° only with intense gaming sessions and usually the system keep the temp between 98 and 101°C with not too much fan noise (1800/2000 and very rare case 2300)

Running macfan control and set it to auto can solve the problem, even in bootcamp :)
