The images are the apple on start-up, selecting a Start-up disk, and in Single-user mode, trying fsck. Is there any way to restore this to working correctly? If not, would I be able to, using a USB A Male to A Male Cable, connect it to another iMac, reformat every thing and re-install everything? Or at least erase every thing and just use it as a harddrive.

Your GPU is dead. You can only fix that by replacing the video card. You can put your iMac into Target Disk Mode and use a Thunderbolt or FireWire cable to use it as an external hard drive. A double ended male USB cable cannot be used for that purpose.
