I am trying to set something up that tells me when its 10 pm each day, and the build in Announce the time setting would be perfect if it was only able to announce the time once each 24 hours. Anyone know if its possible to change the clock settings to be able to do this? Alternatively, anyone know of an osx app that would give this kind single discrete alert without having to press an "off" button or something?

iCal, Apples built in calendar app can be set up to do this, a daily alert with message and sound at a time of your choice.
