iPhone Bending: Solved

If I'm qualified for the centurion card, I wouldn't worry about my phone getting damaged in any way since the cost of replacing it with a new phone would be pocket change to me...
 
As tongue-in-cheek as this thread is, I actually wondered about getting a thin slab of titanium and sticking it behind my 6+ in the apple leather case. I'm just worried how it would mess with radio reception.

It would also rub I would have thought and you'd end up with marks on the back of your device. Then you'd have to factor in that the titanium plate could only be 1.0mm max so would therefore probably not offer too much strength. A case with metallic bumper style edges seem to be a good option but those tend to mess with reception too. :)

Yeah I thought about that. :) If I did such a thing I would put something like a piece of cloth between the phone and the plate. But yeah I'm not sure how much structural integrity it would actually add, though.

Or bend over with it in your pocket, or bump into any tables and/or counters on accident, or get into or out of your car, etc...

Not saying those things will bend 100% of the phones out there, but I think it's been established that a lot more than sitting on your phone can cause a bend. :)

I do all those things with my iPhone. It does not bend. I can bend my MacBook Air also if I really tried. Guess what? I don't try. I also don't try to bend my iPhone. Use common sense and 99.9% of people won't have an issue with their iPhone.

You must have skipped over the part where I said "Not saying those things will bend 100% of the phones out there". There have definitely been reports of it happening with some, though.

I do those things with my phone too. No bends... Yet.
