I have a 2013 27" iMac. I've been trying to plug in my TB display, but it just refuses to "light up". It works 100% of the time connected to either of my other MBP's, but the iMac just won't activate it. I've tried rebooting with it connected, etc. Is there a special "trick" I have to use to get it to come up?

In the Display system preference panel, when you hit Option+click there should be a "Detect Displays" button, it does nothing?

Otherwise, Apple Support says to disconnect peripherals, zapping the PRAM and reconnect things afterwards to see if it fixes the no signal thing.

Correct. I hit it and nothing happens.

And yes, tried both TB ports. I have other TB peripherals so I know they both work.
