ISO 24-27" Display, balance of price and font clarity

I have a 15" late 2013 MBP- would like to get 1 external display. I have an older HP 2711x - and the font clarity is horrendous.

I am looking for cheapest 24-27" display that would give me clear fonts.
 
i ended up ordering the dell p2715q - 20% off brought it to $560 - not the $505 others got earlier this week - but still low-cost enough i think. thanks
