What's this beach scene? It's always there and has been there for months, but it doesn't link to anything.

Funny. I had noticed the same on my various phones. Glad i'm not the only one that gets it. Mind you, its probably a place holder for an advert, which if moaned about will likely change to some crap flash/animated thing which slows the page down. So I don't mind it.
