All iPads The Future for the iPad?

Now that the iPad Air 2 and Mini 3 has been out for a month now, we can only look toward the future. Some questions though:

1. What Can we look forward to in the iPad Air 3? Specs, Updated Designs
2. When will Apple bump up the resolution in the iPad, if ever?
Currently: 2048*1536, Future: 3072*2304 (395.88ppi) or 4096*3072 (527.84ppi)
3. Is the iPad Mini dead?
