ICloud Upload Error Messages

Relatively new to IPad community.
Whenever I upload, am getting.:
"Verification failed" either connection to ICloud timed out, or " error connecting to ICloud"

But upload completes anyway. What to do?
Installed IOS 8.1.1 two weeks ago.
