I wonder how certain people will spin this.

I think Apple deliberately delays putting the "unlocked" label on it because they want to sow seeds of doubt in people's minds. If enough people hesitate to buy one because they're afraid it might be locked to T-Mobile, it keeps more inventory available for actual T-Mobile customers.

It's been pretty well established that all T-Mobile phones sold by Apple are unlocked.

Our "new apple" friend will spin this anyway he wants. Here are some of my guesses.

"its not unlocked, they just want to sell more Tmobile phones due to excess inventory"
"it doesnt say factory unlocked so you should all wait to buy"
"this is a new model and not what they sold at launch so its ok to buy this"
"buy internationally as Apple is screwing its customers in the US by not selling a truly unlocked phone"

I hope they leave it like this and not designate a "Apple unlocked". So much ignorance in the other threads.

Same threads will pop up again next year when the iPhone 6S comes out.

Yup. Like nobody wants to read threads and educate themselves. It will be interesting next year though with sprint and others being part of the unlocking pact.

Yeah, but does it come with the magical box with "unlocked" printed on it. I will accept no other. I was also home-schooled and believe in Bigfoot.

I'm just replying to subscribe, can't wait to see what that user has to say.

However- I quoted you to say that there's nothing wrong with being homeschooled. I was not, but my kids sure will be. U.S. public schools are a complete joke and are simply used to brainwash anymore.

Carry on.

Lol we're all awaiting the same thing. Maybe if he asks the Apple employee to write unlocked on the box it'll make him feel better
