Photo OCR of date info

Help.

I've scanned a bunch of old photos. Some have the date on the picture. The orange dot matrix in the lower right corner of some film cameras.
Is there any software that can OCR this to set the date of the picture?

Is there any good tools to help set the date of the picture?

Better Finder ... is this any good?

Any help appreciated.
