Base 2014 15" rMBP - $1699 at Best Buy

Just surprised stock was 6 weeks old.
Not complaining for $1529....(or maybe I am)
Just never bought a Mac from Best Buy before.
I assume apple will have no issue covering it ...
Is the best place to buy applecare still BHPhoto ?
Don't know... in Brazil I've just bought my plan nearly the 1-year expiration date through the online Apple Store. I got the student discount plus a 10% discount for paying by bank transfer (bypassing credit cards). Considering it's Brazil, the final price was pretty good, around USD 270,00, taxes included.
Best Buy is an authorized retailer, so you'll have no trouble getting service if you decide to take it to an Apple store. Hold on to your receipt regardless. I suggest scanning and making a digital copy of it just in case.
B&H or Adorama Camera. Same price at both places last time I checked.
I know, no idea how they can sell it for that.
Absolute steal.
Only way to get it better is to get the $1529 in a state with no tax like DE....
Im in Oregon on business and there is no sales tax, will go to best buy tomorrow to check it out

Ah, the benefits of being military. I got apple care for like 150 dollars on base for my 2013 rMBP. Some guy returned the little white box or something.

A mover's coupon is something you can pick up from your local post office. You have to go in and ask for a change of address packet. You can also do it online, but then you have to pay a couple of bucks IIRC. In either case, you get a little booklet of coupons for various stores and locations. In these forums, the Best Buy 10% is the most commonly talked about since it applies to Apple products.
Same issue out of date. I assume the newer ones are not yet in full circulation. Might be worth noting the codes on the back are unique. So is not likely one would share their code.
Best Buy lost out on getting 2 grand from me because they won't honor the out of date code. I called their corporate customer service.

Best buy won't let you use the coupon. Just tried and a manager can't even over ride it. That makes it not as good of a deal cause most everyone can get student discount anyways. Which is $200 off.
I'll just wait until next year when the new ones come out and these sell for like $600 off on eBay

It's a 13" not a 15" so I paid $1,217 with tax using the 10% off and student discount along with it being on sale.
I just gave them the two coupons and they honored them. The educational discount coupon wasn't even valid until December 12th and somehow they made it work.
