I've got a really annoying problem with a new LaCie 2b RAID drive. I initially set up some folders and permissions on my Retina macbook. All was working fine I have some folders I want to limit access to. Going into /Volumes and chown and chmod sorted this.

However, I have recently moved fully over to OSX with a RiMac and after plugging the drive in, it just seems to ignore all permissions I throw at it.

Creating some test users accounts and they have full access to all the drives. I can't seem to set the 'no access' permission on a folder. Really annoying.

Happy to mount the drive up purely for my own user also if someone can point me in the right direction.

Any advice would be welcome.
