The strangest thing happened this evening. I was using my 11" MacBook Air, which I have connected to a 27" Cinema Display. For some inexplicable reason, the display just died. My iPhone which was connected also stopped charging. I now have the power connector connected, and it is charging the MacBook Air. However, if I connect the other two cables to the laptop, or even the Bluetooth bit for my wireless mouse, the power goes off again.

Could it be the 3-in-1 cable from the back of the display, or an internal problem? The display itself is just 2 years old. If anyone has had this happen before, please let me know.

Much appreciated...
