Here is my problem, I have a MacBook Pro & a Mac Mini Server. I want to be able to transfer files and folders from my MBP to my Server but when i goto drag the files or folders onto one of the Server hard drives theres a white circle with a diagonal line through it that won't let me do this. I can drag it to the root of the hard drive but not any created folders. From my MBP i then log into my Server with the Share Screen option, here i can move the file from the root directory into any folder as i had originally wanted but every time it's asking me to Authenticate before it will do so. I had set the hard drive to share and permissions to read and write but still the same thing happens. Any ideas what could be happening here

This sounds like a permissions error caused by putting the files onto the server via the MacBook and using a different account to move them.
