An Apple Museum I've been working on.

Hey guys, I've been toying with showing you guys this for a bit, but a while back I made a Museum of sorts to display our collections. Currently, it only has my poorly photographed collection. I am working on enabling users to upload and post their collections themselves. I thought it would be a neat way to display our collections. Down the road, I'm thinking about providing a service to have a page dedicated to each person so they can link that page for their collections (instead of listing them in your signature). Here is the link, I might pay for an actual domain name down the road, but right now, it is http://apple.keatonburleson.com. Thanks guys. I'll update the post when I get the user feature working. Happy Thanksgiving!

All you need to do, is make a new page, call it whatever you like and put your photos (or make a gallery, left sidebar) in the page with your description.

Yes, I'd love to create an account and upload a picture I took of an iBook Clamshell last April. Let me know when it's up.

I'd link to it in my signature so people can know just how many PPC Macs I have.

I'll try to work on it tonight, it might be better for me to setup a Wiki, but a blog is prettier. What do you guys think. Blog or Wiki?

Very nice! Although there are many of these collection sites, I have been thinking of doing one for my museum. It would definitely be a fun thing to do. I guess I'll make a thread if it happens!

How bout a Photo Gallery like the Photo Gallery app in Webs. I like that one.

Well, good news, you can now register and submit galleries. I have to manually change your role right now, but I'm notified on registration. Have at it!

I saw the video on it, but I don't know where the option is for it (assuming it has been implemented). Is it allowed that I upload photos of multiple Macs at once? It would take forever to individually photograph and document My Macs, as I have like 40+ of them. (although I really should find some time to do that one day).

Hmm, if you just send me the specs and dates, I can post it on the website. Unfortunately, its extremely convoluted to people with large collections or people who don't know how to use it, and I don't know a better way to do it.

I DID make an inventory list of all my computers, which I could quickly update (may only need to add one computer to the list). I'll try to find it and send it to you if you like.

Excellent! Right now, it would just be best for me to add the Machines to the website, just because I have full content control.

Hey, I saw your post for my collection---It looks great! I appreciate the little bio you wrote there.

I don't have all the iMac G3 colors, but I wish!

Among the really old Macs are an original Macintosh, a 512k, an SE, and a Classic II. I may soon receive two more Classic IIs, which would be nice.

I'll make sure to better-document my Apple laptops and get those sent in. I also have to find my computer list.

I have 3 (all tray loaders) and thought that was a lot

I see you used my photo of my iBook in the header of your museum website!

I don't mind that you used it, but you really should of used the full resolution file! Sadly I cant seem to find my original photos from that shoot. I do have one on my Flickr.
