Opera browser 26?

Was having some issues with Opera 12.16, crashes and memory leaks, so I 'upgraded' to 26. But I seem to be missing some of the features (image sizing zoom slider, for example). I don't see much in the Opera help about it, or on their blogs which seem to be Windows oriented. Anyone able to help me with this 'new' version?
 
Opera switched from the Presto to the Blink rendering engine (same as Google Chrome), and in the wake of it completely rewrote the browser. It is a completely different browser now, and many features didn't make it into the new version.
