Hi, I have a Late 2009 and Late 2012 iMac and both are super slow. I think, I should upgrade them both to SSD and more RAM for all slots, then job done.

For the Late 2009, I short listed those,

http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00FRLZWAK/

And for the Late 2012 Model, I short listed those,

Already installed the RAM to this.

So, can you please confirm if those are correct items to install ?

Anything else you want to suggest to speed them up ?

I would recommend that you check your upgrade possibilities at OWC (www.macsales.com). They have never steered me -- and many others -- wrong.

The Crucial MX100 is a good choice for the SSDs. I would get this Crucial RAM from Amazon for a couple dollars more. I have never heard of that other brand or vendor. I think the extra couple bucks for the Crucial would be worth it if you ever need warranty service.

OWC products tend to be way overpriced IMO.
