Hi all..

I know Apple support multiple monitors via Thunderbolt, but do they support it via HDMI too ?

aka,, use internal mac display and external display connected via HDMI out to secondary ?

I wish to test, and use, extended desktop/multiple monitor in windows 7 in Bootcamp, but i ran into trouble..

On a PC, i'd have no issues on dual head video card, but on a mac, i'm not sure (a if its even possible, and b) must turn off mirroring.??

Has anyone tried this? or is it only restricted to Thunderbolt (which means i'll need to get dual cable even though already have HDMI cable), even then i'm still wondering.

AFAIK MBPs with just intel graphics support upto 2 external screens across any combination of the two thunderbolt and 1 hdmi ports they have. Mirroring is just an option added to that.

ok thanks...

I guess must be under Bootcamp then yes, because i can't get it to work in virtual machine.... probably because of virtual driver issue.
