MBP to TV via HDMI while booting from USB to install Yosemite

Hi.

I have this Early 2011 Macbook Pro, which has a problem with its LCD. I took out the HDD in it and installed another one. Since the HDD is empty I want to make a clean install of Yosemite before selling it as "not working". Anyway, I wonder, will a Yosemite USB stick will load necessary drivers to mirror the screen on the TV via HDMI?
 
I just did boot it from Yosemite Install USB Stick, while connected to a TV via HDMI.

It booted perfectly but it is in extended monitor mode, not monitor mirroring mode. And the CMD + F1 command does not switch modes.

I am stuck. :) Any suggestions?
