I found these folders in my Documents folder... But I have no idea how they got there.

Is it safe to delete them?

This seems like settings for some Application that you Installed. It is not system files so it won't damage your system in any way, so go a head and delete if you want to risk losing settings for some 3rd party Application.

It'll be settings from an application (it's bad practice to stick settings in the Documents folder, bad developer!).

Open the .xml file and it might give you clues as to what application.

You could rename them (do something like put a "zz" in front of the filename) and then wait a few days to see whether something goes wrong. You could move them to another folder, but I always find it easier to find those "let's see what happens" files if I give them a name that sorts them to the bottom of any list, or to the top ("_" works well for that).

If nothing bad happens or the machine doesn't seem weird, delete them.
