I've accidentally spilled a bit of water on a small part of my keyboard, I immediately turned it off, picked up the cup and soaked up the water with a tissue. I shut down my mac, shook it upside down (no water came out).

I left it in an upside down position for a few minutes, then turned it on, and everything is working fine. (Even the keyboard lights.)

Should I do anything else? Is there a risk of anything?

You've probably already done whatever damage you were going to do by not leaving it off, but turn it off now, put it on a shelf, open, and ignore it for a few days.

I forgot to mention I turned it off immediately after the spill. I only checked it a few minutes after, then turned it back off.
