I just upgraded my Girlfriends Macbook pro. Its a 2011 Macbook Pro 15 inch i7. It was still running OSX 10.7.5 Lion and very cranky. So i got the dog update from a friends laptop as they previously downloaded mavericks and she didn't want Yosemite.
I just updated it and its running great! however, she is a photo student and the iPhoto icon has a cross through it and it says the version isn't compatible with this version of OSX. Im running iPhoto version 9.2.1. I tried downloading the 9.4.2 update and it wouldn't execute. it says the program needs to be updated through the apple store.. there is no update! What now?
