Anyone out there think we would be able to toggle forcetouch on/off when it inevitably comes to iphone/ipad.

Also I wonder how apps will treat this as they would need to satisfy older devices that dont have it.
 
Certain apps have something for Touch ID although not all devices have it.. It will be the same thing if you never experienced Force Touch you will never know what it's going to be.
 
Alternative for touchid is type in your password. But maybe there is a game that uses touch ID as a special weapon or something.

What would the alternative for force touch be? Like in paper 53. I imagine u just need to eliminate the functionality or use long touch/hold provided that isnt being used for something else.
