Only had my PS4 a couple of weeks and recently started to use it to play DVDs.

Whilst playing one yesterday I turned my head away for a few minutes and could hear a subtle clicking noise, on turning back to the screen I expected to see the people on screen talking with somebody using an old fashioned typewriter in the background, but nope no typewriter. This clicking is audible most of the time and once you hear it you really notice it. It is not there all time and sounds like what was/is called clipping at certain audio levels within the sound track. This happens on other DVDs also, so I know it is not a DVD fault and the same DVDs when played via a PS3 do not do this.

Anybody with a PS4 noticed this ?

"No escape from Reality...”
Yep, since the last update...

Kind of annoying....

Ah, these latest gen consoles with the constant updating of the system and games...

May go back to Dreamcast and Gamecube for a bit... ;)
