iPod touch Weired "disk space low" error

Everytime I install something from the installer.app on my 8gb touch, it installs correctly, except I get this notice saying i have low disk space and must delete some stuff...
But i have 6.4GB left and can install stuff after that
BTW: I'm on 1.1.1 f/ware
 
There are 2 partitions on the touch. One for media (the big one you see in itunes) and one for the OS and apps. People have movied wallpapers, fonts, apps, etc to the media partition to free up space. Search for the threads about resolving the issue.
