Hello Everyone.

I want to disable the login window when I turn on my computer. I'm not sure how I triggered the login window, so now I have no idea on how to reverse this.

These pictures might help:

The one on the left shows that I can't make changes to anything, however I remember changing the minutes of inactivity from 60 minutes to 30 minutes a few days ago.

The one on the right shows the login options, and I can't make changes to that either.

If anyone could help that would be great ;).

the one on the left is locked. have you tried a startup in safe mode(hold down the shift key)?

reset PRAM?

any new software or changes before this happened?

I never locked the settings before, and never tried a startup in safe mode- what does it do to my Mac? Also, how do I reset the PRAM?

I only installed the iPhoto update and downloaded some photo editing software from the Apple website, that's it.

Do you have multiple log-in accounts? That could be your problem, especially if more than one of those accounts has administrator privileges. If so, you'll need to designate one user as the automatic log-in account.

Also, the DukeofAnkh's suggestion should be tried first.
