hello!

I installed thunderbird a month ago on my mac and it worked just fine.
for 3 day now I have switched the network connection (in another city), and thunderbird is not working anymore: neither does it get the messages from my server neither can I send mails.
When I want to send mails I get this message:
"the message could not be sent because connecting to the SMTP server mail.risc.uni-linz.ac.at" failed. The server may be unavailable or is refusing SMTP connection.

I must add that I configure the thunderbird exactly as described until it worked, and after it stop working I didn't change anything except the internet connection.
if anyone can help me solve the problem, it would be really helpful.
thank you in advance.
all the best,
madalina
