If I buy a iPhone now will it be able to be updated to 2.0 firmware update in June, or will I need to buy the new iPhone 2 when its released to take advantage of SDK apps?

yes.. you will be able to update, apple provides free updates to the iphone software.. any new hardware features would require a purchase of a new iphone however.

Yes of course, The firmware update will be available in June for the release of the iTunes App Store so we can use these applications on all iphones! Rumours suggest that they will probably be bringing out a 3G iphone (2nd Generation) in June or there abouts but don't worry about buying one now!!

Thanks for the quick replies, the current iPhone does all I need, but I didn't want to buy something that will not be useable when and if the new iPhone is released.
