Hi Guys,

I am looking for buying a 2.0 PC speaker for my MBP. I am not looking for a 2.1 as my hostel room is small and I can't make too much noise to my neighbours.

I am looking at the price not much than US$99. I would like to have a good highs, better mids, and better lows as well. The intentions is to watch DVD movies most of the time, and listening various musics. So any suggestions ?

PS. I was thinking between laCie Firewire and Bose Companion 2. Any thoughts ?

Seems nobody reply me,

I've found Creative Gigaworks T20 and T40 are also excellent choice too !

Have you ever tried those T20 and T40 ? From most reviews I've found from the web are considering great ! I've found only a very few reviews of Bose Companion 2 and not s bad about LaCie Firewire speakers. But every good review websites (TrustedReviews, etc.) are highly recommending for T20 or T40.

Please help me out guys! What do you say over this three 2.0 speakers ?

Well, i just bought the Bose Companion 2 speakers and tried it out. They're great as far as I'm concerned. The sound quality is pretty good. This is my first set of mid range speakers so my comparison and review might not be very accurate.

I have no clue about the rest of the speakers you're asking. The only information and reviews I could gather for them are from Google.

This is just my personal opinion on my Bose Speakers. Just wanna let you know.

Yes, I agree with the previous poster.

The Bose Companion 2's are very very good. I use them with my 24" iMac and have no problems with them.

I haven't compared them to the other two options you posted though.

Hi Guys...

Thank you for your respond. I decided with Creative Gigaworks T40. It's very balance between dual Mids, Highs, and tight Lows within my budget.

Thanks again!
