Is it possible to play an xbox through the New MBP's?

I've got an xbox 360 VGA cable, and the MBP comes with an Adapter thing, but how do i get it work?

no. that's two output ports you're talking about.

Pretty sure it is only a DVI out that it has.

You can with any of the USB tuners or RCA->USB adapters, but the problem is the delay inherent with running video through a computer. It is not much, but it is enough on most games to cause your infinite death.

Doesnt do 60Hz games though, pretty much all the good ones

Well it said PAL 60 hz. IF you're not in the UK then I don't think that applies to you.

I've paid more than most on here for my Macbookpro

There are many people from UK here who are not very happy about the fact that it is cheaper to fly to us, buy there and come back than buying here. Although the higher education store discount is sweet .
