And then i have to go back into settings and connect to my network again. I'm really close to my router so that's not the problem.. Any solutions???

I am certain my router is okay as my MacBook Pro can access wi-fi from it fine. My iPhone was purchased on launch day here in the UK - I suspect something has gone wrong with the built-in wi-fi. I am gonna pop to an Apple store and check it on their router. Will report back here if I get any answers.
