Hi there!
I wanted to type in Farsi in MS Office 2008. I changed to Farsi font from the language bar. Now, it works fine in TextEdit, but when I try it on Word, the problem is that it still writes from left to right (in Farsi, you write from right to left). Any ideas how to fix this?

Thanks

You mean by Word?! But MS Office on Windows has that feature to write from right to left (this way writing is not limited to Farsi only! Many languages write from right to left, so I would be surprise if Word does not have it!) Again, Mac gives me the option, and it works fine with Pages, and TextEdit, but not on Word ... so problem is with Word

Yes. I mean it wasn't offered with Office for Mac. Windows is not OS X. And Windows versions of Office are better / better supported - and now, more stylishly packaged even - than versions for Mac.

Same problem

Hi
I am running in to the same problem. Did you solve it? The letters are not attaching together to form farsi words and yes they are left to right.
Was wondering if you solved the problem. I can type farsi in my emails but not in Word.

I have recently got an iMac core i7 and installed office 2008, the same problem: letters are not attached. Have you guys found a solution yet?
