Hi. I'm happy with my MacBook running Leopard, but a friend of mine, he has got this old blue iMac G3. iMac is good, but the only thing that is missing is a combo drive. Well, why do I need it? It has an old Mac OS X 10.1.4 (actually, I updated it to 10.1.5 - progress :) ) installed and I need to have Tiger in there. I got this install DVD, but here is the trouble - DVD! iMac can't read it, of course.

I tried to make a DMG, copied it into iMac, mounted it, run the install app, but the image self-unmounted after restart.. Not workin...

So I was wondering, if there is any way to install Tiger on the iMac using super drive in my MacBook. (I got ethernet cable, of course)

Well, thanks for any help, folks :)
