is this just like slingbox and will we ever be able to use it with iPhone

Its similar to the sling AV the mid lvl Sling Media device.
I like you am to lazy to google for an answer, but suspect till they develop the Windows emulator for iPhone you will not enjoy this on the iPhone.

Sling Media IS working on a iPhone compatible player however.
 
I would never buy or recommend that product to anyone, just from looking at the website.
The copy is ATROCIOUS.

You do realize that pointing at the front page of woot won't do much for people reading your post when the item changes in 6 hours, right?

LOL that's kind of a good point, I didn't catch that myself. Maybe tonight's will be one of those Roombas and people will wonder if you can use your Roomba from your iPhone!
 
If someone told you they wanted a macbook pro but asked if an acer laptop would be pretty much the same thing, would you tell them yes or no?

Why would you compare that to a slingbox?
