Hey I have two questions that I would like to ask, maybe someone here could please help me.

1.) I am aware of the Merge Calls feature. Is there an extra charge for that?

2.) Can you text and talk on the phone at the same time. If so, how?

Again, please and thank you :D

Much appreciated

-Chris

1) There's no extra charge as if it were a separate service you're subscribing to but you'd multiply the number of minutes used out of your plan. So, if you had two people on with you for ten minutes you'd see a reduction of 20 minutes off your monthly allowance.

2) I rarely text so someone else could probably be more correct on this but I know you can't use EDGE and the phone at the same time. So, unless it passes across GMRS then I would assume they would hold until you got off the call. As for the how, you could use an earpiece and then use the phone otherwise.

you can receive a message at the same time as being in a phone call, so i see no reason why you cant send one at the same time

If you recieve one then you can send one back but if you want to start one, then you can't, at least I can't/don't know how to

press the home button while on a call, takes you right back to the home screen where you can do what you want... navigate back to home and press the green bar at the top of the screen to go back to the call screen. ta da.
