Hello....been kicking over the idea of purchasing a refurb 2.6 8-core. However, after reading a couple of post on the problems with upgrading the graphics card, it seems I should just wait until the 2.8 8-cores make it into the refurb store??

My main reason for getting a macpro with 8 cores is simply that I want it to be useful for 5 years at least. I like the idea of being able to upgrade it as technology keeps moving forward. Price should be something like $2200 don't you think?

Any thoughts?? TIA..

2.66GHZ=4-core

2.8GHZ=8-core

Get the 2.8GHZ 8-core so you wont be left in the dust when nehalem is out next year =D

You guys are right, it's two dual core 2.66 chips for a total of 4 cores. Thanks for your suggestions...:p
