I totally wanted to be a film-maker, and now I'm a programmer...so I'm not too terribly far off, no?

I wanted to be a member of the IAU so I could say "Clear it's NEIGHBOURHOOD, what sort of idiotic definition of planet is that? The fact that Pluto exists dictates Neptune isn't a planet then, SL9 tells us Jupiter isn't a planet, and there are enough NEO's to dictate that Earth isn't a planet!"

Seriously - I don't mind if Pluto is a planet or not. But the rules that currently dictate what is or isn't a planet are utterly flawed.

But when it was, back in the early '90's - I wanted to be a racing driver, driving a Williams FW14B around Silverstone :)

To serve in the US Marine Corp!

After that, I'm was deciding whether to keep serving, become a graphic designer, programmer, or a scientist.

Still have that mindset :)

PS... Maybe even be a teacher afterwords... But after the USMC, I must go back to my home in Cali :)

Well I always wanted to play basketball way better, and since I thought black people must be genetically superior with regards to basketball, I guess I used to want to be black. My best friend, who's black, thought that was reasonable. He had a move a basketball move called "The Spiderman". I swear it was pure luck and no skill, but it went in all the time, and he is black, so....

Anyway, I became a physicist, so that's pretty close.
