will the new Dell UltraSharp 2009w work with the new Mac Pros? seems like a good monitor for the price. has anyone had any experience with this monitor yet; it came out only about a week ago (march 17)?

if you plan on doing graphics work colour critical then it would be a no go. it uses a TN panel which is worst for any colour critical work.

It uses TN, so it sucks extremely bad. Monitors are not platform specific, PC's and macs use the same monitors... unless you get one of those completely braindead apple monitors from a long time ago that used ADC instead of the standard vga/dvi.

It'll work fine as a basic monitor. Not the best for advanced photo editing or video mastering or that sort of thing (because its a TFT screen), but fine for all of the basic tasks and OK for the price, but since this is Dell be on the lookout for coupons or discounts.
