Bought my first Mac (IICX) in 1989 and today my MacBook Pro arrived.

When I left Mac ~1997, I was using OS ~7.6, Disktop (a Finder replacement) and Suitcase for font management.

Today, I find only Disktop 6.4 via Google but Suitcase appears to be part of InDesign.

Is there anything like Disktop out there? Or is it needed?

TIA,

John

Path Finder is one of the more popular Finder replacement's out there today. But I'd probably see if Finder and Spotlight are sufficient for your needs before shelling out for a third-party app.

Thanks for the reply

I'll definitely tread water and get used to OSX before making any further investments.

I appreciate your feedback.
