I'm taking a college course that uses Vizio for Windows. The database course I'm taking teaches you how to set up a mysql database using Vizio as it sets up and labels the Primary Key and Foreign Key that mysql uses. Does Omnigraffle do this as well? I see where Omnigraffle has the "crows foot" line that is proper symbology in a mysql database structure, but can't find out how to do the Primary Key in it.

Is that a good replacement for Vizio? That's pretty much the only thing I use my Windows box for lately.

sorry for bringing up such an old thread, but i found it when searching for diagramming software.

omnigraffle is fine for doing ERD's. Though I really don't like it for anything simpler than that. I use ConceptDraw Pro now.

If you're using crows foot notation then that should already tell you where the PK and FK goes.
