I would like to wipe my MBP hard disc and restore it with the backup.
I have made a clone of my hard disc using SuperDuper! on an external usb drive.
However I don't have an internal partition, I can't get my external disc to show-up when I hold 'option' on bootup (even though intel macs are supposed to support usb external drives for backing up) and when I try to boot from the Mac OSX install disc by holding down 'c' it comes up with a dark grey screen telling me to restart the computer.
Any ideas would be gratefully received.
I have an MBP 2.4Ghz with
10.4.11.
Regards, Paul.
