Ok so I have an older version of Iwork on my computer and I'd like to update it because of Pages. That's the only program I use in the suite and I was wondering if the upgrade was worth it? A full version of iwork 06 is about $20 and a full version of iwork 08 is about $65. Are there any significant differences worth the upgrade?

I think so, the formatting bar in Pages is awesome. Instant Alpha is pretty cool too. Keynote is wonderful (it was before, but this is a nice update), and Numbers is good if you want simple spreadsheet ability.

The addition of numbers really made a difference as does the upgraded apps.

Though NeoOffice and Pages 06 still works.

Ok koo. Thanks. Yeah, I don't care about numbers or any of the others. I just was wondering about Pages because I have to send out a monthly newsletter for my job and the version I'm using now is crippled compared to 06'. Good info to know. I think I'll wait a little bit and try to get 08.
